Morbid Curiosity. If a plane crashes what do they show on the Arrivals screen?
Delayed? or go to the desk or something.
They show rolling live tweets from a survivor
There are a few options, depending on the nature of the crash.
"Gone In"
"Spanked In"
"Tent-pegged"
I hope the TCAS is working. I always think that when a pilot is going through a
difficult situation to have loads of beeps and voices screaming at him dosen't help.
TO LOW TERRAIN! PULL UP. BEEP BEEP, Oh *******s there goes the Master Caution alert.
There's a button to clear all the noise when it gets too irritating.
The TCAS used to be a woman's voice, until the Mexican Airlines incident, when the skipper reacted to a "Warning Terrain" call by cancelling it and growling, "Shut up Gringo bitch."
The aircraft then impacted the side of a hill.
I've watched 7 seasons of Aircrash investigation and am a bit of an Armchair investigator these days
I've visited the memorial for Swissair 111
I was wondering if it is possible (Though i know it's forbidden to drop masks for fire) to some how
deploy the masks and release the cabin pressure to remove the fire as they oxygen would be a bit starved up there?
Or would doing so make the plane explode?
