When will you lot step up and be a big club again?
Baffles me, rich owners, you make a profit each year, have a great stadium and academy set up. Richer than Bayern Munich for example yet sell all your players to rivals?
Arsenal could surely compete with the likes of Bayern Munich in Europe on revenue, stadia and facilities so what exactly is the problem holding you back?
It's called a balance sheet and trading within a sensible business model
Doesn't go down too well with most f**k witted ex pro's and fans. Think Leeds, Think Rangers.... http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif
Yes, just a matter of time. FFP and stadium debts paid off then biff bam boom like Batman oldschool
What about Wenger's culpability?
if arsenal isnt a big club, then there is no such thing as big club
we've won atleast one league title in the 30's, 40's, 50's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, meaning atleast one title in 7 of the last 8 decades.
big club means constantly being up there competing and winning. no team in england have been that consistent. the only reason liverpool and manu have few more league titles than us is because each have had a freaskish decade, liverpool in the 80s, and manu in the 90's.
arsenal are the definition of big club, history, finance, style, fanbase...etc etc etc
See Fergies recent comment about Govan and poker playing
I don't think we can question his ability to turn a profit.
How much do we still owe for the stadium?
I don't know. I only listen to Ears on this one.
