Guns - marriage is NOT a religious invention.
It has existed for a lot longer than any of the major religions in the world.
Various religions have simply co-opted the idea and now pass it off as their own.
Even if it was an invention of, say, Christianity, you can still be a Christian and gay in exactly the same way as you can be Christian and wear mixed-fabric clothes and grow more than one type of crop in your allotment.
The fact that you do not believe in every passage in your bible, does not mean you cannot be a follower of that religion.
Hence, if you are gay and a Christian, marriage is probably going to be quite important to you.
I was going to point that out but couldn't be bothered
The pagan marriage ceremony reputedly undergone by Edward the Confessor was far more fun than a conventional "religious" one. Sex drugs and rock'n'roll basically (no rock'n'roll obviously but a young Mick Jagger may have been there)
Seems I've wasted my time, as he has ignored this. Running scared imo
Re: Guns - marriage is NOT a religious invention.
Marriage religious ceremony and invention when not exist people get together but dont call it that
Try it again in English - none of that made sense.
Must be horrible being a devout Christian
and then as a youth or young adult realise you're gay.
But I se what you mean. Gay people want to show how much they mean to each other by formalising their relationship.
You are racist and it will be reported
