How does buying on general sale actually work?

Will be looking to buy 4 tickets next to each other for the Leeds Cup tie. Does my season ticket automatically give me membership rights that entitle me to general sale purchases?

There will be a horde of 9,000 Norman Hunters and Billy Bremners descending onto our fair parish and singing at us in Northern. :-(
