I am not a fan of Theme parks, 3D Movies, Or Sci Fi type stuff. That being said
Transformers 3D ride at Universal studios was fantastic.
Finally saw something 3D that lived up to my expectations.
The simpsons ride is good too though not 3D.
Did you have a nice holiday?
Is there still a massive Hyatt Regency on Princess Kalakaaua Avenue?
Very nice thank you. And yes indeed there is. It was just around the corner from where I was staying
popped in there a few times.
Couldn't move for these ABC stores though. Every 1/4 of a mile.
*Sigh* Ok then. How was wotsit and Dabbou (the 's' is silent - as, I presume from the portion sizes,
is most of the food
Sounds like it's better than the film
Have you seriously never seen anything 3D that's lived up to your expectations before?
You are aware that everything you see is 3D, yes?
It is Fash though, so I'd be tempted to believe it
Well, since you ask so nicely, I'll fill you in.
The Delaunay - I was a little pissed for this one, but the tarte flambée and choucroute were, I'm sure, up to their usual standard. Oh. and Tracey Emin was canoodling with a woman at the table next to us, is she a dorty lezza?
Dabbous - New menu, same sommelier. A good meal but not a great one. The wow factor seems to have gone missing somewhere. Nothing to compare with the purity of the alium broth or the essence of peas - although the roast goose is exceptionally good.
J Sheekey - as ever, comfortable and comforting. Oysters and champagne are never wrong.
Pollen Street Social - So VERY Atherton.
