That means there are 4 CL places. MC don't get any place.
EL gets what would have been 5th, and the cup, and the EL place from the Littlewoods.
So CL 1-4, EL 6-8.
We're 9th. 1 pt behind the Spuds. And with lower goal difference.
But we have a game in hand.
So what do they do?
1. Do we know who this game in hand is against?
But we couldn't play that, if we can't play. So do we give 1.5 pts to each of the 4 teams with a game in hand?
Or 1 pt for a draw each?
Former, we're through. Latter out.
Or do we divide our pts per game?
That's 1.4pts for us so we beat Spuds on o.4 of a point. That would be tops.
Though our missed game was City, wannit?
How will this all play out?
I say cancel the season. No trophies at all. (Though City can have the Littlewoods for all I care.) And give the Euro places as they were last season.
