Transfer window is similar but not the same as eBay. People, including Mr Wenger, should learn that.
In particular, it seem to me that people should note...
Buyout clauses are like the very high buy-it-now price. No-one in their right mind should start with them. But unlike on eBay, bidding at a low price doesn't mean they vanish. An unlike on eBay, clicking on buy it now doesn't prevent someone else bidding anyway.
Sniping an auction with a 1p better bid 50 milliseconds before the window closes doesn't work as well in football as it does on eBay.
If I want something on ebay. I will bid last minute. But a large bid so it's mine
unfortunately it means I may pay over the odds.
but if I want something I will get it.
Some would say that you are criticising Arsene a? Always a first
Let's just say I think Wenger would be a great eBay trader, with excellent sniping software.
Maz is the eBay-f**king-master. We should let her bid for Suarez.
Personally I think we should offer £50m LESS one pound as a take it or leave it.
That one pound over £40m already has the potential to be legendary.
Something incomprehensible in Scottish probably
Sure. But even then you only pay marginally more than the other guy was ready to pay.
