Agree with this piece, just think we're a CB and LB short of an ideal squad
But it was written by a chick
My favourite line was this
"Tottenham have one senior striker in Jermain Defoe"
Adebayor has screwed them over big time (though if reports that Levy backed down on an agreement to pay higher wages in exchange for a lower fee is anything to go buy our favourite chairman is screwing them over)
we are definitely a left back short.....
We have 4 center backs, even if neg's favorite is that 4th choice.
According to the Mail they are in for Andy Carroll
after all that fuss about that tackle on Bale he played 74 minutes last night against New York Red Bulls
not sure whether that says more about the mail or spurs?
Saw last night that West Ham had agreed a loan deal with Liverpool for him
Surprised to see Allardyce interested. Actually think that is a good move for him - lower expectations and a manager who will play to his strengths. Can't quite see AVB being as keen to use the long ball
Carroll has said thanks but no thanks, unsurprisingly
You agree that walcott is unlikely to start many games?
I would say that is rubbish myself.
Including the likes of arshavin, miyachi and chamakh in our attacking options is unlikely to have others green with envy, particularly as arshavin seems likely to leave.
I dont think we reallyneed a centre back or a left back. It might be nice, but we dont need it. Argusbly this is the strongest broup of centre backs we have had in years. Gibbs and santos are both able to play at left back without the lielihood of regulsr disaster.
What i would like is an addition in the attacking area, someone who can play the cesc role or one of the wide roles. Effectively, a new nasri.
