go to youtube and search Piers Morgan Corbyn and Hamas.

18 min of Piers, Corbyn and Len McCluskey fighting about Israel and Hamas. :hehe:

Very entertaining and Corbyn - yet again - making it clear exactly how anti-semitic he is.

Corbyn is a sickening individual.

True, although as sickening as he is, I found the idea of McDonnell running the Treasury and Abbott as Home Secretary far more frightening in terms of the impact on the country.

Corbyn as a PM may have been nothing more than an absurd figurehead to whom few listened.

I have always considered Mayor of London as a pointless job that you give to a buffoon. Livingstone, Boris, etc. But I genuinely think Corbyn is even unfit for that office. The man is a child, fit for nothing but a protest march or a picket line. I've met his sort time and time again over the years- you learn to walk away from them as quickly as you can.

I can think of no end of utter c*nts in the capital who might find a reason to vote the cretin in.

People who might vote for Corbyn:

Mozzies - because he's anti-semitic
The working class - because he loves the working class and hates all other classes
Lazy arses - because he'll increase their benefits
Foreigners - because he hates England
North london liberal set - because he's one of them

That's rather a lot of the London population :-(

It just gets worse for the shipwrecked Tories. Cleverly has the look of a bloke who stumbles through various doors and has been hit on the head by a falling anvil.
I watched a car crash interview yesterday with a bloke called, Holden, the new Party Chairman, who managed to ramble for ten minutes, basically saying nothing, other than spouting meaningless platitudes.

Let's ignore the fact that whenever Cameron speaks to one of our EU allies, they'll ask him why he's working for a Brexiter govt when he always rightly maintained it would be a disaster for all of us.

Let's leave aside the fact that he's in the Lords so the HoC can't hold him to account.

We can pretend, if you like, that he didn't lobby HMG to get govt funds for his bent, Aussie mate when the exchequer was stretched to breaking point during the pandemic simply in the hope of enriching himself.

Let's even try to forget that when Major {and Clinton} signed the 1994 Bucharest Memorandum to get Ukraine to give up her nukes in exchange for us guaranteeing their territorial integrity, Sir John Major expected any future of Her/His Majesty's PMs to honour the agreement as we did Belgian neutrality in 1914 and the Polish Guarantee in 1939 - not just stand back and allow Russia to annex the Crimea. {Though my 55 year old mate, Vlad, fighting in the trenches there won't forget it, and we chat on Telegram a lot.}

But the fact that China thinks he'll be great proves that he has been {and in their eyes, will hopefully continue to be} a serious threat to out national interest and indeed, western security.

The corrupt, cowardly, Brexit-enabling, Chinese-cock-sucking Putin-puppet should be taken out and shot.

His sister's ace. We did free raves together with the Jiba sound system, living in the squat with the rig in the middle of Whittington Park, she came on our first Ukraine trip {and went on the later ones with the glw} and travelled Europe in our truck doing Teknivals. But as soon as Dave became leader they whipped her off to South Africa for rehab for several years. The glw has been allowed to see her again, but I haven't. That's something else I'll never forgive Dave for.

She gave me part of one of the lines of the poem I wrote while we were on that Ukraine mission in 2000 - The hypothermic hermit's hypodermic's in her vein.

The first stanza is about hoofing Ket at the Pol-Ukr border crossing which took 7 hours during which we tried to talk footy with Ukrainian truckers who didn't speak English. One of us six crusties with the real charity bods is a Sperzer. They'd just signed Rebrov. With sign language and pidgin they basically said Shevshenko - good, Rebrov - so, so.

It's Starmer. Nobody can see that guy as a Prime Minister. Doesn't matter what he says or does between now and the vote.

That revolt over the Gaza vote now means the Tories can play up the ghost of Corbyn argument.

Then there is Scotland. Without Scotland, Labour would need to win more than 300 seats in England. Blair pulled that off but Starmer wont.

Hung parliament, Tories as biggest party, just about.

But people tell me I'm crazy :-)

That doesn't make you wrong, however. Crazy people are frequently correct. And in this case, I agree. Corbyn/McDonnell/Abbott ruined labour for at least two elections. As I recall, no party has ever lost as badly as they did and then won the next election.

Who is going to vote conservative? Actual conservative voters won’t vote for this collection of limp-wristed morons with their left-of-Blair agenda, while non Conservative voters have been somehow convinced that they’re to the right of Mussolini.

People will vote Conservative for the same reason they always do- fear.

Fear of Corbyn, fear of foreigners, fear of change, fear of worse. Take your pick.

Sunak has a major disadvantage with the right of the party's core vote in that he is... how can I put this.... not white! But they'll get over it.

For the younger right wing vote, yes. But the older Tories in the shires- no. Also, he isn't nearly right wing enough for them. Some of them will stay home, others will find a bigger ******* to vote for instead.

It is telling that they are focusing on shoring up their right flank rather than trying to steal the centre from Labour. Sunak clearly feels there is nothing to beat in the centre as long as he can hold up his own flank.

I think Peter is being a 'real ale snob', red. He's probably a member of CAMRA as well :-)

And unless I misunderstand, all beer in Germany (like everywhere in the world other than England, I think) is carbonated and therefore would be considered 'lager' by the real ale snobs in England.

Nothing wrong with real ale, of course. Had 3 lovely pints of the stuff down the Jolly Farmer last night. But lager is equally tasty and I don't really get being snobby about beer.

Ok, I know you'll never understand the glory that was the original Spesh and don't get other high strength lager, but in terms of normal beer that all you lot drink, how on earth can you say the Krauts make better beer than the Belgies?

And that's just normal Belgie beer. Trappists believe that God wants us all to get off our heads - and they are right to believe so, cf Shiva and chillums - and therefore forgo speech so as not to be distracted from making us the best beer so we appreciate God's Divine Grace to the fullest.

AND when I was in Ypres on my WW1 MA field trip, I found a beer in the hotel bar that was 12%. Even stronger than Spesh. Made by monks. And cost the same per 330ml glass as the other beers. And it was lush. God bless the Belgies.

You have me very, very wrong. I wont drink in any of the poncey, real ale pubs for one simple reason. They never sell Guinness, and I only drink Guinness.

If I was a snob I would only drink in Bowes on Fleet Street, Dublin. Wonderful drop in there :-)
