It is extremely childish to be happy about them losing. But I am :-)

Agreed.

I once went all the way up there for a 0-0 draw, where the highlight of the game was Gilberto putting it over the bar from 6 yards.

All that way for them to suck the life out of the match. And they're still at it, all these years later.

I was once assured by a Geordie mate and season ticket holder at Newcastle that football was a religion in the north east and that the Newcastle faithful would therefore never accept anything other than attractive, attacking football.

Oh, and the peas pudding, stuffing and saveloy sandwich from the pork butcher near the train station was sh1t. :-)

I'm quite a fan of Celtic getting dicked 6 nil against A.Madrid. Celtic fans are awful, self hating losers.

Cracking header from the lad. Leoa, I can't decide if he's going to get to Mbappe level or Darren Huckerby

The 4-4 draw up there with disgraceful refereeing. And that awful 0-0 last season where they earned a huge amount of praise for their dark arts of fouling, time wasting, screaming at the referee and escaping at least one obvious penalty. I'm not knocking it, but it is hardly something to be proud of.

I went up there in 88/89, 1-0 win. Got spat at on the escort from the train station and a copper tripped a young kid over on the way back. ****ers.

Not least because it was Dortmund. There is a lot to admire about that club, particularly in the face of oil money.

Indeed - although I have not forgiven them for throwing away the league last season
