Just a little odd, that the fella ejected and the transponder went off and it just flew along on it's merry way. I'm not suggesting some mad conspiracy theory, just a bit odd.

Plus why didn't the other pilot track it?

To be honest I suspect the other pilot was too busy watching for his mate's parachute to open to track where the broken one went...
