Only 79 points to win the league over an injury plagued Arsenal, a Bergkamp penalty away from being out of the Cup and then had BM p1ss all over them for 89 min before two scrappy, lucky goals handed them a completely undeserved win.

City must consign this nonsense to history.

Annoylingly we really should have won the league. we made it very easy for them in the end.

Given the xenophobia rampant in English football at the time, if Wenger presided over a league champ back to back they probably would have banned all French managers or some such thing. For evidence one merely has to go back to the shoddy ref decisions, red cards, etc., of the 02-03 season, which we rightly should have one as well.
