Elneny should be in that slot anyway, shirley?

The missing player is Reiss…he’ll be back soon.

But highlights how light we are in the defensive section so I wouldn’t rule out Polish guy slipping into there to help close off games.

The old Wenger tactic of throwing Cygan into midfield for the last 5 mins. :nod: He was a good ball playing CB so was useful enough in there. His problems were he had the pace and mobility of a snail and despite being a 6'4 hard looking fella was quite weak in the air and not overly aggressive. Had a great start to his Arsenal career mind and for the first few months the press were all over the story that Wenger did it again. Signed a gem for £2m while Utd got robbed spending £30m on Rio Ferdinand. Used to play next to Vieira in midfield at youth level for France which probably helped him filling in there too.
