In an ideal, Ganpati world, Eddie will keep playing better and better. Then Gabby Jesus will be resurrected, come back playing even better than he was and keep winning us games.

Then we end the season with silverware, Jesus player of the season but with our no.14 still having scored more than our no.9.

I love them both. But so chuffed for Eddie's attitude and taking his chances. He did it when he broke into the first team under Dick Emery. And again at the end of last season when he replaced Laca. Signed a five year contract when he could have left for free, knowing we'd sign a top drawer, pricey, first choice no.9. Was happy just to be trusted as a 2nd choice who the manager now had enough faith in to bring off the bench. Gets his chance because poor old Jesus was nailed up by those Qatari Judases, and is so far taking it as well as anyone could have hoped.

We have our 9 and 14 both playing sublimely and they both have the same goal celebration.
