So apparently his team qualified for the World cup and he's 29. This means it's likely Xhaka or Partey. This is absolutely shocking and hard to believe. This means at a minimum we have at least a 50% chance of finally getting Xhaka out of the starting 11.

Starting to sound like it's Thomas Partey. For our sake lets hope he beats the case. He's got a great defence though. He's on record as converting to Islam the previous week so this case is clearly just a cultural misunderstanding

Xhaka posted a picture on Insta that he's still on holiday, and Partey pics are genuine and newspapers making a point of pointing out that he's on the tour.

Great. Xhaka and El-Nenny as our MF next season with Sambi as back up. Might be lucky AMN didn't work out with Maureen.
Given the additions we'd made this summer, I thought that all we needed - other than proper cover at full back - was to have two creator and destroyer MFs like Partey.
Having Saliba meant White could play RB, so some cheap cover for KT and a 2nd Partey and we'd be in with a shout of CL.
Yet a MF with no Parteys?
I used to dream of a team made up of 2 CHs, a goalie, a striker and 7 Santis.
What would a MF made up of 2 or 3 Granits look like?
I do remember Hillier, Selley and Morrow.

I think we are better with him in the squad.
He was away in Jan and we didn't win a game. he was missing towards the end of the season and were also awful.

The problem was his injuries.
Starts the season
Plays 5-6 games
Injured and out for 3 to 6 weeks
Comes back
Needs 2-3 games to get up to speed
Players 5-6 games
Then injured again and repeat process
Useless for a 38 game league campaign.
Contrast that to someone like Ruben Neves who knocks out 33+ league games a season and it’s a world of difference.

I saw him towards the end of last season.
Had a bet on them vs Sampdoria.
Got spanked 4-1 and got subbed after he failed to control a ball and fell on his bum.

Arsenal have good lawyers and thomas has a lot of money. He should be able to beat the case.
