That being said I think Chennai are about 10 short here…whether KKR can run this down with Dhoni masterminding the field is another question.

My best mates in my local offie, Kennedy and Shiva, are both Indian Tamils from about 60km outside Chennai.

Hadn't seen Kennedy for a week cos he'd been up in Sheffield where his missus is at uni.

Saw him {and his missus - first time I've met her and I've been here 3/4 yrs} tonight. I didn't know the IPL final was on - stopped paying attention when CSK qualified for the playoffs.

He told me they'd won. Had a grin from ear to ear. Got his missus back in his arms and he boys won the league.
