what's going on, eh?

Now, I don't doubt excess mortality in March/April but now we have a 'spike' in cases yet a reduction in deaths.

Talk of the PCR tests either only checking for coronavirus (cold, 'flu included) or indeed just checking for human RNA/DNA... #tinfoilhat

www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/covid-19-hospital-activity/

56 people in England in mechanically ventilated beds. 599 covid hospital cases in total. All a bit of a storm in a teacup now, isn't it?

London is a relative ghost-town, which is nice, tbh.

Time to get back to normal isn't it? Wear a mask, if you wish, and crack on.

Shirley?

My least favourite part of all of this nonsense has been the smart way they turned they have made the public police each other rather than do it themselves.

I haven't seen anybody being told to wear a mask by a policeman etc. However I've seen lots of cases of horrible people who go round trying to shame people into wearing it.

Same sort who would grass people up on their community facebook pages for not clapping on a Thursday night.

The whole thing has been incredibly wishy washy. Don't go out! Eat Out,

Though I suppose they will say the deaths have gone down since the masks where compulsory :rubchin:

apart from this type of nonsense of course...

now, I'm no fan of the average Scouser, but I thought that non-mask wearers didn't have to prove anything.
Like you say, wishy-washy.

It's a load of old cobblers, i, hyped out of all proportion by weaklings, solipsists and drama queens. "Oh no I'm going to die!" So what? What makes you so special that your passing is of any importance?

3 old dears died of the flu and we all went and hid behind the sofa. Socialism has weakened our moral fibre and destroyed our once proud nation. That is why I have formally withdrawn from society.

I'm out on the piss tonight, mind.

 I've done a few lunches in the west end recently. It's eerie. All those shuttered chain restaurants and empty streets... will our cities ever be the same again?

Probably not. But that's probably a good thing. For the most part, cities are ghastly places.

You knew this was BS when they said BLM rallies are immune from C19.

Saw Tenet last week...nice quarter full cinema...could really spread out.

Spoiler - disappointing film....disappointing...people are just too gay for Nolan and can’t admit the movie sucks worse than a £2 hooker in an alley.

Nolan is the most overrated director since Spielberg. He also has frankly ludicrous notions of the fuel capacity of a Mk 1 Spitfire.

Yes, tell the vulnerable people with underlying health conditions to continue to isolate and social distance until a vaccine or treatment has been developed and the rest of us should return to normal life as the odds that any of us die from it are incredibly small. The damage being done to our economy, our society and to our children is incalculable - to continue with this is insane and only happening because of scientists who lack the humility to admit they’re guessing and politicians who lack the brains and the balls to call them on it.

My current list of people who need to be horse whipped within an inch of their lives because of Covid:

Boris Johnson
Chris Witty (multiple times)
Patrick Valance

Beginning? You've been moaning about it for years. And Fash used to moan about it before you!
