Apparently we need to change the history curriculum now so we can all learn about our colonialism and racist past :rolleyes: At least in the US these demonstrations seem to have stayed on topic. Elsewhere it's turned into the equivalent of someone making a football post and me hijacking it to ask Luis Anaconda about the rugby.

My wife showed me a former colleague's new profile pic the other day. He had the mask, the baseball cap and the fully black ensemble, complete with a BLM poster. All shot artfully in black-and-white, of course.
Minor detail: I have personally heard this guy make a number of racist jokes over the years, so I know this is all virtue-signalling bullshít.
Also, he shot the pic not in London, but on the mean streets of...wait for it...Royal Tunbridge Wells. :hehe:

Had to take myself off of Facebook for the time being. There's only so many times you can see white privilege without wanting to get into a verbal toe-to-toe. The trouble is if that happens you can't win, you're told you'll never understand because of your skin colour. They might have a point, but there's nowhere to go with the discussion at that point.
