Bargain Hunt I quite like it, Though must be a cheap as chips show for the BBC to produce. I like the cheerful news,

Tipping point. awful, the machine bit is a novelty when you first see it, it's particually sad when they talk about it like it's actually something important 'oh no hope it doesn't ride on this one'

Come Dine with me. I only usually see this on if I am stuck in a hotel. Secretly I quite like this TAXI!

Other notes Columbo/Murder she wrote seem to be on tv 24 hours a day.

The ITV4 treble of Minder, The Professionals & The Sweeney is great although it doesn't take too long before you've seen them all.

Tales Of The Unexpected is a bit crap compared to how I remember it :-(

Tipping Point...

how they made a television game show out of a dull, dull, crushingly dull, penny arcade game, and got it past commissioning I'll never know.

and then for it to run for years... Jesus wept.

My mum and sis tried to get me in to that over xmas. Well now. I don't know what to say, I think you've summed it up perfectly.

Although as a kid I did like penny falls.

When I was staying with my sister in Australia, the afternoon schedule on ABC (I think) was Knight Rider, The A-Team and Magnum. Absolutely brilliant

Excellent stuff. There's been plenty of A-Team on the telly recently, it has not disappointed :-)

I was amused to note the other day that there's a quiz show on (I assume) ITV that's hosted by an actual dwarf and yet nothing in the title or format or anything else makes any reference to it. Why?

And bargain hunt reminds me that in the before times, I was at an antique shop in Sawbridgeworth and the Antiques Roadtrip team were filming. I quite wanted to walk to the counter during a shot holding a giant plastic gollywog (of which there was one) and ask for access to the Nazi memorabilia (of which there was some), but my wife wouldn't let me.

The quiz is called Short Answers. Or it might be called Tenable :rubchin:

I saw him (and his family) at the Haynes Car Museum near Wincanton many years ago. I think he'd just done the ceremonial re-opening of it.

His wife is also a deeewarf, as, unsurprisingly, are their kids.

In short ;-) it is quite an interesting place if you like yer motors.

Now I think of it, I was in a fitting room next to him when I was having my final fitting for my wedding suit. I remember texting Sir Charlie about it and musing on whether he got a discount.

Can two dwarves bang and have normal kids or do they invariably come out wrong?

Air Crash Investigation and Car SOS on National Geographic.

Also Louis Theroux on IPlayer. America’s most dangerous pets on there. Featuring the loon from Tiger King. :-)

I don't know.
Is dwarfism a recessive or dominant gene? We could work it if someone knows this shít in a filial calculation stylee.

I can’t watch telly at the moment, daytime or evening. I fancy the idea of watching a nice film, but can’t concentrate on it. Perhaps my mental health is being affected by the Mao Tse Lung?

Yeah he's quite a celeb (in dwarf terms) It's strange that all dwarfs seem to be quite hideous, you never see a good looking bloke or a pretty bird. Maybe they start off ok but become slightly disfigured after being thrown around in the pub.

I told you about the time someone found a CD-ROM (that dates it) in the office that was full of clips of dwarf porn, didn't I?

We had a freelance designer in and he picked up a rewritable CD ROM - only to discover it was full of diminutive ladies getting rogered by normal-sized cocks. Once he'd watched every single clip he told me and after that I was never able to look at my colleagues the same way.

What are you getting up to all day?

It’s a pretty hectic schedule.

Up at 6. Feed cats and hens and ponies.

Breakfast, read paper.

Rest awhile.

9, visit office and attend to statutory duties.

9.05, return home.

Around 11, pony training and grooming.

Midday, lunch.

Post lunch rest.

2 until 4, maintenance, house cleaning, hang out washing, general chores.

Late afternoon, more pony time.

5, begin dinner.

7, dinner.

9, bed.

It sounds ace. I'm working, sadly. :-(

Some questions:
1/ Where is your government-mandated exercise period?
2/ What are you training the ponies to do? Is it tricks? Please say it's tricks.

:hehe: Classy guy. I was in O'Neills years ago and there was a dwarf who'd been hired out by a group of lads. A kind of dwarfogram I suppose. I saw him in there the next weekend and said Alright mate, who's hired you out this time. He replied no one, I'm out with my friends. I sheepishly went back to my table, face warming up slightly :hehe:

It wasn't Greg The Miniman, was it? He used to do stag-dos handcuffed to the stag and similar.

fm B that is 100% him :hehe: The handcuff thing rings a bell now, or maybe a collar and lead.

Yes, a mate of mine hired him years ago. He used to be incredibly busy and you had to book him ages in advance. But I suppose that sort of thing's dried up a bit now, what with social distancing and everything.

Yes, poor v is labouring away. :hehe: There's literally nothing I can do as manufacturers are all shut down and, with car dealerships forced to close, customers aren't bothering anyway.

I'm getting a run in most days. Some days it's hard to find the time though. Just off for one now actually.

Ha! No, they must be taught to walk nicely on a lead rein, to obey voice commands, that sort of thing. Also to trust us and not be scared of things - which involves doing things like waving a plastic bag in their faces to get them used to the idea that although it's scary, nothing bad will happen. It's all pretty dangerous stuff.

I'm just not feeling it, b.

I was delighted the other day to see that an Indiana Jones movie was just starting - it seemed to me that absolute ideal thing for a bank holiday evening... but I soon lost interest :-(

So you're tormenting the poor beasts? Shocking seens.

Thankfully, both g and I are working. I think I'd find it intolerable to be working if she weren't - and vice versa probably. We just go off to different parts of the house and ignore one another for most of the day.

I think it might depend on whether they are disproportionate or proportionate - I read that somewhere anyway

The first one is always worth watching but the rest are crap. The one with 007 in it is truly awful. Connery becomes a parody of himself with his exaggerated lisp. It was charming in the 60's Sean but ffs just pack it in man!

I thought so but according to a quick check on Wikipedia they can both be part of the same condition or something. I've been dealing with a watch story all day, my ability to read English may have suffered
