we are doing everything wrong, in fact we are being extremely stupid and counter-productive.
Staying home and social distancing will kill more old and vulnerable in the long run. Doing nothing would have meant it would likely be over already. Very interesting.

So the total and irreversible ruin of our economy and our wealth for at least three generations was nothing more than a hysterical overreaction by the fools who govern us (whom we deserve by the way because we voted for them).

it was an opportunity to reset the world economy. MMW, once the virus scythes through Africa, the rest of the world will write off African debt. :tinfoilhat:

Fúck the Africans, what about my debt? Write that off and all of this sacrifice would have been worth it :cloud9:

so Sweden have done practically nothing and it isn't getting any better there.

\and is he really THE leading expert? Or is he one of a number of experts who have different ideas on the best response

I think the point he was making is that closing the schools was stupid and removed our protective barrier, as kids shrug this thing off, pretty much making our 80%. The flatten the curve crap, means the virus will be around for much longer, and will repeat in multiple waves, killing more old and vulnerable people than if we'd just secured the at-risk and carried on as normal. Also highly amusing that this social distancing 6ft 6inches apart (i'm not ****ing French) is utterly pointless with an airborne respiratory virus, and the safest place to be is outside.
Governments are clueless ****s.
