I just walked to the local shop. It’s very nice nobody around.

And they had stuff I can’t find in the supermarket. Turkish branded pasta for dinner

The glw went barmy and ordered a bunch of different flavoured pestos.

1. Why is she hoarding pesto?
2. If she wants pesto, why not just hoard basil, pine nuts, parmesan and garlic?
3. Women

Do you get to use one of those pestle 'n mortar contraptions. I reckon using one would make you feel like Jamie. "Just give it right 'ole gwind fer a bit" (fat tongued mockney qunt).

I actually did a proper inventory of what we have in the deep freeze and fridges yesterday and, based only on that, I reckon we've got enough to make a month's worth of meals without any other food coming into the house. And proper meals. Not the chickpea cous-cous type meals that would come in in month two.

:-( I can always send you a care package. It would include rhubarb, though.

You're awful kind, but the buitcher seems to be OK at present.

On Friday he gave me a 1.5kg cote de boeuf and charged me 15 quid. :hehe:

I couldn't decide whether to do it as a roast with Yorkshire pudding and potatoes roasted in dripping, or as a steak with chips and bearnaise; then I realised I'd have to go to Tesco for the tarragon, so Covid-19 has drastically inhibited my choices. :-(

I don't think anyone's panic-buying tarragon, tbh. Certainly not in Sidcup.

I grow it, of course.
