Allanism and the need to treat it accordingly. Only took how many deaths on our streets?

"The problems we have with re-educating and reclaiming and rehabilitating people who succumb to Islamism, it’s very very hard and very tough and it can happen but the instances of success are really very few and we need to be frank about that and we need to think about how we handle that in our criminal justice system."

Well one way of handing it might be to stop letting those convicted of terrorist offences out after no time at all so that they can go all Mr Stabby.

Given that we invariably end up claiming they're mentally ill, could we not simply stick 'em in Broadmoor indefinitely rather than letting them infect our prison systems?

Fella on the news earlier suggested we just try to explain to these chaps that they're not gonna go to paradise.

Can't see why that wouldn't work.

There was a story here last week about some bloke who got out last year. He had planned to go into a post depot and kill as many people as possible (the postal service is bad but not that bad). Anyway, he’s now living under a new name and studying at a Swedish university. Probably radicalising as many as he can.

:hehe: Yes, that'll do it.

Can we not take a leaf out of the Israeli book and just start bulldozing their family homes and building walls around places like Bradford and Leicester?

Wasn't he part fo the party that is letting them all out early...he has also been PM for long enough to have done something about it before now

Keeping them locked up forever would cost a fortune. In a way it makes sense to let them out to go a bit stab by, so the police can put an end to their capers in the now customary fashion.

Yes, he definitely should have fixed everything by now. Definitely.

I’m coming up norf on Thursday. Is it frozen up there? Do you know a good spot in Leyburn for lunch?

Easier surely to cut out the middle man and just string 'em up?

Not all of them, of course. The more minor offenders we'd flog until they can no longer stand, blind and castrate.

Yes, I'm definitely embracing a new-found enthusiasm for extreme right-wingery now we're out of the EU. Marvellous.

I need an idea for a lowish carb, lowish calorie dinner tonight. The ingredients I have are: a half side of salmon, some lemons, some frozen peas, a swede and staples such as onions, garlic and cupboard stuff.

Any bright ideas?

Well the first thing is to take the swede, chop it into bite-size pieces and give the fúcking thing to the horse.

Beyond that, roast the salmon, serve with lemon and tarragon butter sauce with a pea purée on the side.

bit of a chill, but to you soft southern sorts it will feel like the frozen North...and Leyburn is always colder than anywhere else.

From what little i know of Leyburn, it has been mentioned to me that the Saddle Room and the Sandpiper are both very good

Salmon and peas. It’s not really a meal, is it? It wants, you know. Chips.

OK, then. Do you have beans in the cupboard? If so, mash them up, mix with some softened vegetable bits (beans, peas, peppers, onions, sweetcorn, whatever), season with stuff like onion powder, etc and fry gently as patties until golden brown.

Even Herb was able to cook these and claimed to enjoy them when I gave him the recipe.

Beans have got carbs, haven’t they? :-(

And also, what do you think peas are?

Yes. As are beans. In fact, what we call a pea is just a bean.

Every day's a school day!

Doesn't help me with an actual meal though, does it?

If you really want to avoid carbs completely, just shove the salmon into your face and eat nothing else. Or go shopping.

Otherwise, compromise and do the bean fritter thing.
