Curry powder in butter on steak seems strange. But you'd recommend it?

When I started growing herbs (the plants, not the Awimber) in my garden this summer, I started making various sorts of maître d'hotel butters. Parsley, coarse black pepper, lemon juice and variations of shallots, garlic, Worcestershire sauce etc. Some were quite nice.

Just made a tube of it my wrapping in greaseproof paper and rolling it.
