There seem to be claims* that everyone wanted us to lose, hoping it would bring the axe down quicker.

I can never want us to lose. We might need that point to stay up.

Andrew Mangan? He's quite an angry chap these days. I feel sorry for the other fellow. James, is it? Trying to keep the conversation within the realms of civilised, reasoned conversation whilst our Irish chum gets all sweary.

I did think when Lacazette scored oh great he's kept Emery in. Not exactly the same.

And yet no one listened to me when I reminded them of the last time our No 9 equalised so late into injury time against Southampton at home in a 2-2 draw. We went on to pip a seemingly unbeatable Liverpool team to the title. It's on

I'm confused here LA, can't believe I'm questioning you but well... I think you're mixing up your seasons here.

88-89 - Smudger in front of the North Bank for 2-2. Game Paul Davis has his fist brutally attacked by Glen Cockerill's chin. I'm fairly sure we went on to win the league that year. Not sure it is well documented

Yep. Poor old James. When he mentioned that Ornstein tweeted that Emery was expected to still be in charge for Thursdays game, Mangan had a conniption.

Two hours he ranted for in that podcast, yet when things go well (I know, hard to remember) he has nothing to say. Even earlier this season he apparently refused to quote or answer a question about Leno's decent form because he had nothing to say about a player playing well. At the end of the day I suspect he's just a middle-class AFTV. And he'll never accept the blame for driving out old Veng.

Time to withdraw my Patreon subscription, I think.

He has actually grown a pair of sorts recently. Much to Andrew's discomfort on occasion, as his job is to be the gimp. Now he has to be on the receiving end just by trying to be calm and reasonable. "HOW DARE YOU NOT LOSE YOUR SH!T OVER THIS LIKE ME!!111!!"

He reminds me of our own dear old sw sometimes. Must be an Irish thing.

Ah bollox yes! I didn't look at the Arsenal World head to head properly (even though I thought it was probably the most obvious season :banghead:)

By jove, it almost sounds as if they've adopted some kind of "conflicting personas" strategy in order to spice up the podcast.

Who could have ever imagined such a thing?

Thick c*nt. You, not them.
