It comes out good but not right.
I have a fancy new oven so I expect top quality.

Forget it, f. You'll never get a domestic oven anywhere near hot enough to cook pizza. :-(
It's a shame, but that's just how it is.

To be fair, it probably wouldn't be a great idea to have something that reaches 400 degrees Celsius in your home.

What if I put it on the self cleaning function. apparently it goes up to apocolyptic temperatures and i just sweep the ashes.

 We went with Neff, if only for the slide and hide door.......oh and the touchscreen

500c but the door locks and apparently has some safety back up.

If you have a gas oven, you can place the pizza on the base of the oven for the last minute to get the crust nice and crispy. This is assuming that you have a metal base under which the fire burns?
Keep the pizza moving around for no more than 60 seconds to avoid burning the base.
Alternatively, if you have a good BBQ, you can always use that. It does work if you can get it hot enough.

But 250 degrees is fine?

Well a pizza oven isn't insulated, is it? It's just naked flames with a hole in the front. A health and safety nightmare, I'd say.
I remember seeing someone put bricks in his oven to make pizza and I remember thinking that it probably wasn't worth it just for pizza.

Nice, we got this one but only because our builder got all our Neff appliances for a big discount https://www.johnlewis.com/neff-b58vt68h0b-slide-and-hide-variosteam-single-electric-oven-black/p4187303?sku=238177482&s_kwcid=2dx-KELKOO-EHT92700045366060829&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5cGRl8PQ5QIVDVPTCh2R2AVREAQYASAB EgJLovD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

:hehe: Have to say, la, I initially thought you'd made that response to me saying 'It's basically naked flames with a hole in the front' and was about to say that, while very amusing, it was probably no way to talk about another chap's wife - at least not in front of him.
