Off to Bayern, allegedly.

What a nightmare. Erik in Munich showing his team how to play the Good Stuff while we get Mourinho's anti-football. :-(

Sorry, what? Mourinho? Surely not? I'd literally rather see the place burn down.

 As you know, I am very much ITK, and my contact* tells me Mourinho is almost certain to take over in the summer.

There are many who would favour such appointments. "No more of this tippy-tappy shít", and so on.

Burney, for example, likes to glorify thuggery on the football pitch.

I'm waiting for Rich to suggest Eddie Howe is the answer.

He is a devotee of the thuggery/buggery school of tactics?

Not so much. I always get surprised when he doesn't speak with an Northern Irish accent as I am basing this on him looking like my old boss

He is very loud, I was about 100 yards away waiting for a mate and could still clearly hear him greeting his friends

Yes, well it's very much a Greek principle. The Sacred Band of Thebes and the Spartan Hoplites and all that. Nothing inspires esprit de corps like all the players gaying up.

I think this is very much where football management needs to go.
