Fudbalski Klub Crvena Zvezda are something we never have been, sc, former champions of Europe.

Admittedly this was before football began. 1991.

But yes, now they are so shít, even them will beat 'em.

Amazing to think that in those days you only needed to win 5 ties to win the European Cup.

Red Star beat Grasshoppers, Rangers, Dinamo Dresden, Bayern Munich and Marseille. And for that they get to wear a star above the badge :-(

But is that star a red star?

Bryan Munich, I suppose, would have been a scalp.

I remember Forest had to beat Liverpool on their way to one of theirs... I'm mean Nottingham Forest! Twice!

Steau Bucharest, FFS!

The Eternal Derby is quite the spectacle. Makes the NLD looks like a netball match.

Also there are two Partizan factions that have to be kept apart.

Not a bad idea we could do that at the Emirates.

we were winning the champions league a lot longer than they were,
in fact they were only drawing the champions league for about 60 seconds

The almost was in reference to them getting to the final, thankfully they never actually looked liked winning it during the final, would have properly ruined my holiday!

In hindsight, them getting to the final and losing was perfect.
Wheels off since then, of course.
