Yup. We lost the Ashes yesterday. Today we will be all out for less than 200.

Jesus Christ, you people need to get a hobby that doesn't make you clinically depressed.

Have you considered following a football team?

Have you been enjoying your treadmilling?

I'm really struggling for pace at the moment, I've had to slow right down to get through 5k. I wonder if having no fuel on board has anything to do with it?

Roy's extreme forward defensive to that last over did make chuckle, the huge waft at a wide one, less so :-(

Truth to tell p, even when they were 122-8 and our pitiful acquiescence had yet to commence, he was still grumbling like Victor Meldrew

Probably. Mind you it's no big deal. I'm more than happy to lose the Ashes provided the sporting gods allow Arsenal to finish in the top 6 and at least one point better than last year.

Sounds fair to me. Let it be so.

And I'm more than happy for Canada to lose the Seal-Clubbing World Cup to bitter rivals Norway in exchange for the Arsenal Women winning a throw-on near the halfway line.

Let's hope we both get our wishes
