I'm not sure that a couple of seasons in the Chinese Super League will have done wonders for his talents, tbh.

Witsel has been a key player for Dortmund this season and they signed him from a Chinese team. Paulinho was also a key player for Barca a year or two ago and he was also signed from a Chinese team.

I know who you mean...went to Juve and looked quite good for a while... was he the one sent off in a CL final
