No, but it will stop her and her team bending over for the EU at every turn. Farage’s success will also shift a lot of MPs who suddenly realise that being pro-remain is not an election-winning proposition.

It’s a shocking fact that our greatest and worst peacetime Prime Ministers have both been women. On balance, it’s clearly not a thing we can ever dare risk happening again.
