Seems a few Arsenal and Chelsea Armenians are having their Visa apps rejected so can’t go to the game.

I had an email from the club offering me a ticket yesterday

How are you supposed to get there? Three of four days in the Supporters' Club coach along with all the sex cases and mental defectives who attend away games?

Come now, b. Away games were always much more fun than home games.
Until the AFTV lot started getting stations above their ideas.

I did look on the night we qualified £740 via Istanbul - 15 hours each way but I remembered I'm off to Cyprus the day after but could have got Manchester>Istanbul>Baku and then direct to Cyprus for £633.......was tempted

It's one thing to attend away games if you are local to that away game or happen to be in the area anyway.
However, regular attendance at away games (particularly if you travel by coach with the Supporters' Club) ought to be classed as a form of mental illness.

15 hours? If I travel for 15 hours, I expect to be in Singapore or Hawaii or something. Not fúcking Baku.

Supporters Club coaches? :puke:
No, drive to wherever on Saturday morning. Match.
Night out. Stay over. Home Sunday.

I would imagine the income from Youtube more than covers the costs.
It's a fúcked up world we live in, and no mistake.

But that's your entire weekend gone, surely?
When do you find time to tend your allotment?

Fun city, by most accounts.

Oh, it used to be, b. Alcohol fuelled.
Newcastle was always a good one. Cracking night out.
Couldn't do it now. of course.
Wouldn't do it now.
Last away game I did, I think, was at Hull City as I was visiting friends in the area.
Xhaka lashed one in from 30 yards to seal a 1-4 win :shítgoalkeeping:

I must be honest and admit that I really have no idea where Armenia actually is. I mean I know vaguely that it's somewhere around that bit near Turkey and the 'Stans, but if asked to find it on a map, I'd be sadly embarrassed.
I also haven't a clue about Slovenia. I don't even know if that's a Russian one or a Balkan one.
Geography was so much simpler during the Cold War. :-(

Income you say...
Right, I will suppress all my airs and social graces, buy a baseball cap, grow a beard, switch my brain off, raise my voice to sweary levels and launch my own channel
I will call it Fash's Fowl Football review

That plus sponsorship.
I don't know how he's so popular. See I can't even hate watch him. Listening to some irritating halfwit speaking in ebonics does nothing for AAR.

Totally agree. It's shameful, what we've done. I used to love Geography, at school.
Nowadays, if my sons' books are anything to go by, they seem to have replaced the whole business with #PokemonGo.

Basically anyone can get a ticket now.
Fans given up on travelling and / or getting a visa.
...
One thing I’ve liked with the EL is seeing our Away support bolstered by local Arsenal fans in those countries especially Russia and Eastern Europe. So hopefully they fill up the allocation now.
