We should’ve been using a few more of the youngsters this season. Get the rebuild going ASAP. Shame that Smith Rowe went on loan while we’ve wasted our time with Suarez. Even recovering from injury, Smith Rowe surely would’ve offered more than Suarez?

I feel a bit for Areta...the side is so much more balanced now and some players are improving because of it ie Xhaka has another solid game.

But man...there’s some dog sh*t players still here.

It’s not perfect and he still has to tweak some positions and work with other players but he’s being held up but fkin morons at the back.

At what’s worse is they’re being rewarded with new contracts.

Kolasinac needs to leave - we got him for nothing and I’m for him to leave for nothing as well...
Luiz - why even give him a new contract...why?
Mustafi - playing better so time to cash in and get rid

It’s like he wants to punish himself or something.

I'd still get rid off one of Laca or Auba too. Two of our better players but they just can't play together, two similar in style. Laca has changed his game and become some what of a hold up man and is doing ok at it but it seems a waste to me. This was another one of Wenger's last big feck ups. Getting rid of Giroud who would have been perfect next to either and being stuck basically with two stickers who like to get in behind playing of a big man or creative forward.

One of Salbia or Mavropanvos to be given the 4th choice cb position and hopefully pushing on to a starter. For a new manager to come in he has a easy job to do. Even without signing anybody this current squad should have been top 4. And it would have been but for dreadful management throughout the season. It all started to go to shiiiit when he needlessly bootied out Torriea/Guendouzi last year. Two of the best perfromers from the previous year.

I'm not convinced he's much better than Ospina tbh. The main attribute he came here with was his so called elite level of playing it out from the back. Maybe he was a big shot at playing it out around Norwegian pig farmers in the German league but i've never been impressed with him doing it here. They'll be debating for some time about wether we should have sold Martiniez or him last summer. But one thing is for sure, Martiniez ability at playing it out from the back was light years ahead of him, they're not close ability wise.

Can see why they got Tavares, quite pleased if Ben White happens…don’t know anything about Sambi Lokonga :shrug:

Still gutted about Martinez but when you think about it…he’s the No1 for Argentina now so you’re losing him for every World Cup qualifier / international now. Can’t be good every international break flying all the way to South America and back.

Will take its toll on him and Villa.
