I was in a hotel last week - the TV was right at the end of the bed and was about the same size as the mattress - I didn't turn it on for fear of being blinded. Only slightly more ridiculous thing was the hotel was 15 minutes from my apartment

Did you try, "Can you make porn appear on my telly?"

Surely the hotel TV is going the way of the hotel phone? Soon, nobody’s going to use them as they have their own laptop, tablet or whatever.
I spent a week in the states and barely even turned on The TV, instead using the fact I had US Netflix to download the whole of Babylon Berlin and watched that instead.

You'd have thought so but every hotel we feature makes a point of how big or technologically advanced their tellies are. More of a status symbol/design feature than anything I'm sure

The only thing they’re useful for is mirroring what’s on your laptop, I’d have thought.

If you'd could just see your way clear to writing something fabulous about the place I work for you could probably get a nice comp for when you're over. Then we might not need to rely quite so much on those piratical parasites Expedia. Your headline could be Més que un hotel'. :-)
