View Full Version : Saturday reminded me how much I hate North London Derbies.

To think there have been times when I paid actual money and travelled to watch them. Insane.

Also, Emery Out!

I was actually pretty comfortable with Saturday until they got the pelanty. Then everything got to the usual sick to the pit of my stomach feeling than NLDs bring on.

I suppose the early goal settled some nerves.

Also, the referee was fúcking shít.

The longer it was only 0-1, the more certain I was they'd score. And if that Umbongolese cùnt is ever allowed near a fùcking penalty again, I won't be held responsible for my actions. :furious:

Isn't that the first one he's missed for us you gigantic racist?

Don't care. If you take one that badly in the 90th minute of a game against Tottenham, you've proved you're utterly lacking in moral fibre and worthy only of contempt. He's dead to me.

was it Arteta who missed one in injury time a few seasons back? Might have been against Fulham.

Fulham schmulham. This was a North London derby, ffs! Unforgivable.

I remember Lauren scuffing a pen in against them to win during the run-in to the 2002 season. One of the worst penalties you ever saw. :cloud9:

No, he missed one against Man City in the defeat at the Emirates last season

I thought he did. Couldn't be arsed finding out, though.

And speaking of Foolham. Chambers seems to be getting high praise for his role as DM, during his spell at the cottage. I’d be quite happy to take punt on him replacing that utter drosspipe, Xhaka. He and Mustafi cannot f*ck off soon enough, for me.

What was his record like in the big games in Germany? I think he has only scored in one game against the other big 5 since he signed for us. Little bit disappointing.

I always feel that Xhaka would take a mean penalty. Auba has scored lots of goals for us but I can't help but feel I'd rather have Lacazette.

He missedone vs City just after he signed. We were 3-0 down at the time. Can't remember whether it was LC final or the league game just after.

Lacazette is much betterer. You can tell because he has a sensible haircut, a nice, neat beard, is always well turned-out and is generally just a nice, tidy package.

O'Fingerbang, on the other hand, looks like a slovenly shower of shít topped off with a cùnt's haircut.

They both perform infantile celebrations, though. Can you imagine Anderson backflipping around the square every time he took a five-for?

What's wrong with a fist pump and some back slapping?

Got it. Dennis is still a legend as he only missed one against ManU in the FA cup semi final. No doubt, not as bad?

:nono: Worse. Dennis' miss was utterly appalling and I'll hold it against him to my dying day.

It's only all the other great stuff he did that stops me hating him for it. Umbongumbongotheydrinkitinthecongo has no such mitigation.

Besides, Gabon is one of those countries that cause you to lose in quizzes where they ask you name African countries. Same with Mauretania.

Plus, I've just discovered that the President of Gabon is *actually* called 'Ali Bongo' :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

How could I have missed that? I thought I was just being casually racist* with all these silly names, but it turns out I do actually have a strong understanding of Gabonese nomenclature.

*OK, I was being casually racist, too, but still

I think this is the first proper outpouring of puerile name-calling we've had since Ade-barn-door. wd Ramalamadingdong imo.
