This is certainly the worst season in living memory. We are a pile of bland dross with as much class as a steel puddler's underpants and the only team that can stop Liverpool winning the league is Tottenham.
It's literally a nightmare, Geoff. :-(

Best we've played in a long time. Very enjoyable. Always like Slade and felt for him as constantly injured
He has never quite brought his club form to international level but he played really well on Saturday. I’d still prefer a fit and firing Jonathan Joseph at 13 if I had to pick although there’s not much in it.

He was superb on Saturday - really thought he did well in the Autumn games and has kicked on. As you say defence was awesome and the penalty count wasn't too bad (of still too high). What the **** was Mako on though - absolutely immense
