Really ? Most of those shots were poor efforts straight at his feet or at his chest height. The Kane header was a good reflex save but the post match W*nkfest was waaaay ott. On balance, Lloris made the better individual saves, aside from the goal, where his positioning made for the angle.

His positioning was A1 though, the last Kane effort, had he gone with his hands he'd never have got there. Yes, the scum should have scored but De Gea did his job.

I'd also add that I thought Lloris should have done better with the Rashford goal

Harsh, imo.

Side netting, next to the post. Good finish.

He was too far left and Rashford was always going across him

Message reported to Bob Wilson and Steve Heighway, imo.

Starting to warm to Arrivederci at Chelsea.

Ignore his fee...He could be the best of the lot imo

Hopefully if we can get the defence sorted we can see the same from Leno.

Exactly but it's already been decided, he's the best goalie ever. Plays to the cameras beautifully as well.

As for Lloris he seem to run across the goal in a panic to get in to position, gawd knows where he was when Pogba made the pass.

None of these newbie c*nts will get the reference, mate.

Where were you sitting at Wembley that day, mate? I'd sunk about 12 pints by kick off so don't even bother asking me, mate!

Exactly most of the art of GK is positioning. They've all got decent reflexes, even George Wood had decent reflexes.

The save from the free kick was perfection. Yes, you'd expect him to save it but on a flying leap he caught it beautifully. Most modern keepers would parry that.

Wonderful technique. He's a brilliant keeper.

For me, he's too scrawny. I want my keepers built like brick shíthouses. Seaman, Shilton, Schmeichel - all BIG men. And all their surnames start with 's'.

In summary, then, a great keeper should be a powerfully-built honcho with a surname beginning with 's'.

But not too tall - like Stuart Taylor was. :-(

People want them to be footballers these days. Seaman wouldn't have liked all this. He was never hugely comfortable coming too far off his line.

Of all the modern ones I think de gea is my favourite.

Harsh, imo. Good strikers are like good swing bowlers; they can go either way and are extremely difficult to read.

The keeper did what he could, what he had to; he protected his near post. But even though Rash had alot of goal to aim at, it was a much harder finish.

I doubt there is one single judge in the UK who would take a dim view if you approached Jenas in the street and proceeded to punch him repeatedly around the head.

quite how Journos know more about goalkeeper positioning than World Cup winning goalkeepers...
