Friendlies?

1 friendly against the US of A and 1 semi-friendly in that UEFA Nations League thing against Croatia

Has anyone worked out what the point of that Nations League thing is? It very much strikes me as an answer to a question nobody asked.

I think Rooney fully deserves this special send off, if you can't honour a man for 1 (one) WC finals goal then the games fúcked.

I could explain it in great detail B but we'd have both lost the will to live long before the end. Better to move on and pop down the pub instead imo.

The problem is these games lack any real consequences.

We need stuff like in Asia where that Korean team were playing to avoid National Service

That’s proper high steaks imo

Ooh, how about a tournament where we let immigrants from different countries play for indefinite leave to remain?
