1 x Ginsters cheese and onion pasty
1 x Ginsters Cornish pasty

A total of 1,060 calories ftw.

Why am I eating junk food for lunch? Because the glw insists I need to add some meat to my bones :-(

She's trying to kill me, isn't she?

YOU ARE WARMING THEM UP, AREN'T YOU? :-(

I'm thinking I may hardish boil a couple of eggs, season them liberally and then wrap them in parma ham for a sort of carb-free Scotch Egg type thing.

But won't that interfere with their essential comforting blandness?

I find no comfort in blandness. Only in chilli.

I'm going to stand up for their sausage rolls here.

Although I also hear wondrous things of their Festive Bake, which should be hitting gastric systems any time soon.

The beef is weirdly squishy. Like it's processed beef-flavoured product.

They're probably vegtarian.

 And they're sometimes lukewarm. And there's always the chance of hitting an inedible piece of gristle.

No. The steak bake won't do, I'm afraid.

You see, that'll be your Southern Greggs. Proper Northern Greggs and you get a proper steak bake, no gristle and piping hot.
