It’s an alright watch. Definitely not the second best sporting event in the world.

Tiddlywinks for grown ups. I’m not convinced it’s a great spectator sport.
Similar to snooker in a way. You struggle to stay with it for the first two thirds but get interested in the final few frames / holes..

It's not a sport, it's a game.

I consider it a peculiarly shít game, but that's a matter of opinion and up for discussion. The fact that you wear long trousers and don't break a sweat proves, however, that it isn't a sport.

Most enjoyable weekend. Made all the more amusing with Patrick Reed throwing Spieth under the proverbial bus :hehe:

Right. It's difficult to get past the whole "But it's only Golf" thing, imo. Although I've nothing particularly against Golf.

It's definitely sport, though it may not be a sport :-\

It's mostly just walking around, really.

So's hare coursing. Still sport though, and also a sport.

Not very sport for the poor hare though

No. You can't have anything where animals are doing all the hard work, I'm afraid. Horse racing, showjumping, hare-bothering, fox-bothering and badger-baiting are right out, I'm afraid.

Bit like 50% of a cricket match then

Oh? Good luck to the leporid that refuses to take a sporty approach to the business, imo.

Missed this...spent most of the weekend with my new driver on WGT Golf.

Hit a few 66s at St Andrews and they move me up to the white tees. Old driver was leaving well short.

£20 for a Taylor Made M1 :(
