Not one signing yet and highly probable the stadium won't be ready until October/November

I was rather hoping they'd lose some of their big names after England's all-conquering world cup performance, though. :-(

If they do they will lose the ****ter ones at vastly inflated prices. They would probably love that...

Where will they play? They can't play only away games for three months - many of our fixtures would have to be changed or moved as well. Actually it wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened. We'll play 12 away games in a row at the end of the season. :-(

Their fourth game is meant to be the first one at the toilet bowl

That might actually keep us in the top four for the first 26 games. Followed by 10 defeats, finish sixth :(

The Toilet Bowl - do they have to wait for the builders to put the lid on? How could they possibly not notice the shape of that roof.

They seem intent on replacing Moussa Dembele with Jack Grealish which is odd. I guess once Utd cave in and sign Alderweireld they'll probably spend some cash

I was reading just the other day they were in from September, first matches after an international break.

They will be playing one "Home" game at Wembley against Fulham
The rest will be down the bog

Oddly enough I was quite taken with the lad Grealish in some end of season fixture, looked head and shoulders above the rest.

Dembele and Alderweireld would be big losses all the same, both seriously good footballers in the PL.

Would not be laughing too much anyway, 1-2 clubs hardly out of the blocks yet in terms of summer dealing and can change very quickly. Our need (in terms of top 6) was clearly the greatest so we have done what we had to.

Rumour is, it won't be ready for the NFL game that's supposed to be taking place there in mid-October

Not got long left to get stuff finalised though

Boro play-off games I would imagine - and yes he did look good. Champions League good, it's harder to make a case for. Dembele has gone from the player that makes them tick to surplus to requirements very quickly which I just think is strange. Probably a story in there somewhere

Yep - presumably closes before Man United Leicester game on the Friday, two weeks today

Isn't Maguire off to Utd?

Which winger do you think we'll sign? I think that we have a good chance of Dembele considering they signed Malcom.

 9th August, I believe. Which is odd, as nowhere else in Europe is adopting this approach.

I don't think we'll sign anyone. Might wait til January for a cheeky Dembele bid if he isn't getting a game. Doubt they will sell him now

I like it - we've got out business done but can still sell players til the end of the month. Ospina has to be looking to go

They have to play 2 fixtures there to tick H&S rulings and the second of those has been announced for 01/09.

I expect this to be challenged and perhaps even flaunted.

Inter PL transfers yes but signing players from abroad.

THREADJACK: Spectacular collapse from Hampshire yesterday. I assumed they were coasting home at about 80-1 so I switched over to watch the F1 Report, just as Agar was coming on. Switched back half an hour later and they were ~120-4. Then complete collapse. :hehe:

Yes, well done Ashton. I was quite ready to rant about how this franchise thing can't come quick enough as at least "Middlesex" can't be utterly **** in that. Still pretty poor results for a team that has spent some serious money on a specialist coach for the whole thing. I like Vettori but he is making **** all difference really. Hampshire appear to be just as bad though

Some of the fielding was shocking. Finn let one straight through him. They're spending a fortune on Bravo, aren't they - in cricket terms? I thought the franchise thing was to have a 'London' team -a Surrey & Middlesex United.

God knows what on earth they were thinking about anyway taking a load of sports tourists up Tottenham High Road.

I suppose it depends which paper is reporting and how the journalist has been briefed. No biggie to miss a few games anyway. Their transfer inertia is more interesting as two of their best players look set to move on.

As before, lot of activity still to happen – City and United both only having 1 player in so far, Chelsea the same I think.

The new agreement makes no sense for the very top clubs and is why I expect to see it flaunted.

It seems odd that if he hasn't had any encouragement to come back - doubt Sale are paying as much as Toulon. And still an opening at 15 if he plays well enough.

Ashton, Yarde, Soloman back three is very tasty. You would have to boo the horrible **** at scrum half though
