A lovely walk from the train station, via the bars, through the city centre to St James Park.
I once saw the dullest of 0-0 there, up in the gods.
One goalmouth scramble where Gilberto failed to score and them hitting the bar were the only memories of the match I have.
Timothy Taylor's Landlord may have something to do with the sketchy memory.
