Wee Jack's gone as well. :-(

Cesc gone, Denilson gone, Walcott gone, Rosicky gone, Santi gone, Jack gone - it's a fúcking slaughter. There aren't any players left who I recognise any more.

What happened to our football club, la? :-(

Poor Santi. Bundled out the back door (mid summer), with all the academy rejects. What a way for it to end

Today is the the day I let it be known that I am firmly in the “Granit for captain” camp. Ramsey can **** off.

He hasn't signed though, has he? He's off, mark my words.

Mertesacker's gone, Koscielny's dead, I don't even know who our left back is any more, I suppose Sansom's gone?

Cole and Sylvinho sharing the post- Dixon still on the other side with Craig McKernon filling in when he's on the telly

I'm seriously confused now, because I had a dream last night that he was made captain and that this had led everyone to speculate that this meant Ramsey was deffo on his way. I woke up completely convinced this had happened and it took me a while to realise it hadn't. Now here you are advocating exactly what was in my dream. :-(

Am I going mental, bgm?

It was a mistake letting Dixon take the number 2. Pat Rice has years left in those little bandy legs.

It was one of those dreams that didn't really seem like a dream because it was so unremarkable. I sort of heard this news on the radio, raised an eyebrow and thought 'that'll be Ramsey off, then'. And that was about it.

But, to have to appear on the released list with all the other plebs. What an indignity for such a talent. Couldn't they have placed Santi and Per on their own special list? Then released the standard one for the academy dross and Jack?

Arsene once spoke about 'the values of the club', saying that it was important to him that people are treated with respect, that the star striker was treated the same as the tea lady. It is this very culture that you hear ex-players and staff members reference when they talk about The Arsenal being special.

Think on.

Only in the low 20s. Having said that people tend to lightly dress once it’s around 18’C so yes there is a lot of flesh on show. I had my shorts on yesterday and was out in the countryside and got bit by a great big ****ing horse fly. The **** was as big as a fifty pence piece.

I've killed two horseflies this summer as they were in the act of biting me. They haven't got me yet. Cvnts.

I'm going to be straight with you here b, whilst I regret your horsefly incident, it wasn't really images of you in shorts I was seeking. It's not a bad image, mind.

I was in the shower this morning and looked down at the top of my feet, where there was a clear brown line where my shoes started. I assumed it had to be dirt and went to wash it off, but no. It appears my legs are actually tanned. Weird.

I thought this was something to do with the Frimpong thread for a moment and thought you were going to claim to be turning black.

Mate, if I'm looking down in the shower, it's immediately apparent I'm not black.

I wore sunglasses all day yesterday and although i managed to escape getting a proper tanned outline of said sunglasses around my eyes the glabella is still white while the rest of my face has a tan :-(

It's all very corporate now. Even more so since Gazidis has taken full control. I saw some pictures from the open day last week. Emery was stood there in his blue trousers and red Arsenal polo shirt. Dressed exactly the same as the other staff members on show. Gazidis was the only one allowed to wear a suit. Emery is just an employee of the corporation now. Not a football manager but, 'part of the team' as Gazidis would say.

The whole thing looked like a staff 'motivation meeting' at Walmart. :-(

Saw a quote from that Spanish chap Guillaume Balague or something like that, that Wenger had Mbappe in the bag until his family asked for 7-8 mil Euros to agree the move.

Ignoring the fact that this Spanish chap is almost always wrong, would you think we should have paid the family a commission to sign the player who looks like he might shortly be the best player in the world? :sherlock:

I vote yes

Wouldn't that constitute an illegal payment? Arsene probably sat them down and gave them a lengthy lecture on financial ethics within sport.

Dunno - surely all they have to do is make them his agent or summat? Anyway, other people do it so we should as well.

Further down the article, I noted that whilst Marc has left, Tolaji has been offered a new contract. I may be wrong, but I suspect that there will be tension in the Bola house ce soir......
