The captain bit. Everybody knows 4, 5 or 6 skippers a football team. At a push a #10, so long as it isn't William Gallas.

Not as yet...Raul, Sven and Ivan asked him to contact all of the applicants to tell them the bad news and he thought it would be funny to do it now and then he has to help Unai’s wife with relocating to London. So he’s got to look after the packing, shipping, new digs and schools fit the kids.

Apparently he handled Unai’s travel details when he came to London and then to the US to meet Stan and back again and Unai is most impressed with his attention to detail :shrug:

Right. Philipp Lahm too, my son says. But basically, anybody but your striker. After all, if he's doing his job and banging them in, nobody cares who the skipper is. It only becomes an issue when you're under the cosh, so you want someone who's in the thick of it.
