Arguably the least important part of the appointment.

Suits are what your Grandad wears.

It's always the least important things that actually matter the most, imo. #WelcomeUnai

Suits are what a gentleman wears. I found this great picture of you in a suit, sw, looking well suave.

Well said, s. You would think that supporters of The Arsenal would understand The Arsenal.

Arteta would have worn slacks and a pullover.

I wear trainers and jeans, shorts when the weather is nice. As a football manager and coach I can assure you there is no uniform.

Apart from the fúcking dicks who have their initials on their tracksuit. They are fúcking dicks as I said.

You wear short jeans? Cut offs? Do you fray the hems nicely?

I must say, I'm surprised at how 1980s George Michael your fashion choices are.

No, I most certainly do not.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

And that is why we turned Mikel down
Failed the sartorial elegance part of the interview process

He was never really in the process, UE was always number 1 choice. MA was just a lego haired distraction.

Quite sure I read that somewhere and it must be true.

Yup. Just applying some finishing touches. (eg: Desperately ploughing through each of 5,000 old emails to see what stays and what goes.) I'd delete the lot if it wasn't for some bottom covering.

The Privacy Policy I wrote was practically a work of art.

We had ours re-written by one of the top legal firms in Dublin. No fúcking about there.

Just need to send it out now.

I went for the non-legalistic, plain language approach. If the ICO here don't like it they can stick it up their ballix as we were specifically following their guidelines.

We are going to Mailchimp the ass out of it this afternoon.

I admire the balls of staff who have already become arsey about us having their data. The same people who will happily click through the accept / confirm buttons on their mobile apps without reading the privacy notices.

Yes, privacy policy fatigue is quite the thing this week.

As will be people passively withdrawing their consent from organisations who they would actually like to be remembered by.

I have lost count of the number received to my personal email address, more or less all of which I have ignored with no action on my behalf. At this stage I am unsure if I have passively withdrawn my consent or not.

I did read one earlier today (from my off-licence) which said there was no need for me to do anything and that my silence would be enough to remain in touch.

I thought it was supposed to be a positive affirmative action though our PP email is just providing a link to the updated document and offering them a chance to Unsubscribe.

No defined re-consenting requirement. Approved by Arthur Cox Solicitors.

p.s. I have a loyalty card. Quite the customer you know.

It seems that loyalty cards are being treated as legit interests, so active consent not required. I ploughed through the Marks & Sparks PP to learn that.

Just in (not a loyalty card):

"As long as you don’t withdraw your consent, you’ll continue to receive marketing communications via email."

It's a madness. Nobody knows what the fúck is going on.

Emery out?
