Himself from the job.. Bit of a punt but perhaps the club with its new management team aren’t looking for a Wenger replacement.. If the future role is purely about coaching, them it seems to make more sense.

It isn't just coaching, though. He picks the team, decides the tactics & communicates with them. Has to deal with the massive egos of the players and all the cùnts in the press.

Gone by December.

Hopefully not.

His reputation is no nonsense apparently and not averse to the half time hair dryer. Questions about tactics and ego management aside, he must have learned a huge amount from Pep. Perhaps the club are more worried about him going elsewhere . Jardim isn’t even being spoken about and both Nagelsmen and Allegri have made strong statements about staying put in the last 24 hours..
