He has been the only constant I have had in the last 22 years.

The ground is crumbling beneath my feet.

I hate change. :-(

Your hair is still a lovely shade of black though

Yes. I was thinking the other day that I was 23 when he joined. Quite a lot has changed over that period, it's fair to say.

Mind you, it would be weird if it hadn't, I suppose.

I have rather less of it, though.

Gosh, that does sound young. I was 31.

I've mislaid two parents and a wife. That's simply careless, isn't it?

This reminds me to be a bit more patient.
I often think things are not moving. but 7 years ago I was competly different.
Now I own a flat, drive a fiat, married about and get excited about tools.

I think it's fair to say, f, that you seem a much happier chap today than the young fash who was forever detailing his whoremongering exploits in between depressive episodes.

wd age.

I remember coming home from a drug-fuelled trip to Amsterdam and my dad had recorded Vieira's first game for us (against Sheffield Wednesday?).

Now I live in Hertfordshire and have a cat and an allotment.

Wonder if there’s a support line for people like him? You know like soldiers and ptsd.

For the last 22 years he’d be on the middle of a training session about now but instead he’s watching Jeremy Kyle while making himself some coffee.

Poor guy might discover horse racing and lose it all...them funky Anelka style transfers don’t work at Ascot and Windsor imo

David Hirst's shot... :yikes:

I miss going to Amsterdam for a weekend of hedonism.

:smoking: Jack Herer mixed with mushrooms :cloud9:

Being with half a dozen mates and being paranoid as fúck and not speaking to each other :-(

Getting mandied up and going clubbing at the Melk Weg :cloud9:

Nowadays I'm happy to repair a fence or other such banal activities. Getting old fúcking sucks, b.

I remember being told by Sasa Ilic that he'd got me a ticket for the final home game against Everton in 97-98, but I couldn't go because I was booked to fly an airshow. :-(

Your blocked up nostril has been a constant innit?

:nono: I had two working nostrils in 1996. The right one finally died in about 2006.

Oh my, ironically around the same time Arsene & Arsenal broke as well.

I think the night of the champions league final might be what finished it off.

You fickle man. You've been missing Cesc and crying out loud for his return. Now that Wenger has left, you drop Cesc in a heartbeat?

Oh I still miss Cesc, but he hasn't been a constant in my life, has he? He hasn't been my mentor, role model and father figure, like Arsene.

I wonder if the nonce stories were ever true.

We can ask this now I expect?

I very much doubt it. It would be strange if such an obviously decent man had actually fooled everyone for so long.
