Depends on your point of view, I think. Titanium telephone poles launched from outer space apparently, which all sounds harmless enough from a kitchen table in sleepy, rainy rural France. Perhaps not so harmless if you're standing underneath them in your desert hideout as they fall.

I like the way the threat of S-300s keeps being raised. Aside from the diplomatic repercussions of using them, the fact is, Ivan is terrified that they will be shown not to work or can be easily destroyed by Israel/Saudi/the US, thus destroying the current jewel in the crown of their arms industry.
