Apparently it is a fundamental human right to be able to have a drink, whenever you want it, and drink it independently.

Now, I dont think that actually is a fundamental human right but even if it was, can't they bring their own bloody straw?

If I was heading out for a coffee and couldnt drink without a straw it might just possibly occur to me to have a straw that I take with me.

Or is it simply a case of **** the planet because a very small group of people will be slightly inconvenienced?

Ramps, lifts, access, adapted houses, parking badges, special cars and now free straws? These people have it easy and the more you give them, the more they fvcking want. Spoiled fvcking cripple cvnts. They want the moon on a stick.

Stick them out on the streets to beg where they belong, that's what I say. That'll soften their cough.

Alternatively, what about paper straws?

Paper straws are no good for hot drinks. Alternatives like glass and metal present obvious problems with hot drinks- the poor ****s will burn their lips.

Why not just give them all a reusable plastic straw, paid for by us, the taxpayer. If you lose it, you can **** off.

WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO BUY CRIPPLES STRAWS, P?!?!? :shout:

You see this is you socialists' answer to everything: if in doubt, stick your hand in the taxpayer's pocket.

Give a man a fish and all that.... you have to help these poor ****s in some way, b. THey get a pretty rough ride after all- first Glen Hoddle, now this!

People seriously take the piss here over disabled parking spaces. I walked through one of the car parks here at the weekend and every disabled space was full, not a single blue badge on any car. It seems to have become a thing here...

It's probably people identifying as disabled, p. After all, thanks to you lot, there are no objective realities anymore. If I feel a bit tired, all I have to do is say I identify as crippled and I can park where I fvcking well want. What's more, the authorities can't fvcking touch me without being transphobic.

They should still have a blue badge. There seems to be a local exemption for those driving Audis or BMWs.....

Ooh it annoys me when having to use a bus and the journey gets held up when the worlds slowest projectile - the ramp - gets called into action so that a four wheeler can roll on or off the vehicle

Why do you need a straw Pedro?

I would say that there are times when a straw is necessary. One of those big, long Bloody Marys, for instance. Much easier to drink through a straw. Although if you break off either end of the celery, that, too, will act as a straw.

Hmmm.

I am not sure that a grown up, apart from when in McDonalds or Five Guys or a similar establishment, ever really needs a straw for drinking. Certainly with respect to a Bloody Mary it would be down the hatch in a few mouthfuls rendering the whole straw engagement a nonsense.

Have a word with yourself else you end up like thon Dutch ponce.

McDonalds Thick shakes (if they still do them), impossible to drink without a straw

Nah, if the BM is a big one in (effectively) a pint glass with tons of ice, a straw is the way forward. Otherwise you end up with foliage up your nose and a big tomato juice moustache.

And the post-breakfast pina colada enjoyed on one's sun lounger next to the pool?

You simply haven't thought this through.

My pet peeve in this regard is the amount of money we pile into cyclists. New lanes, places to park their silly things etc etc

I'm betting cyclists are a net drain.

And some of my trains now have 2 less seats near the door. Not sure if that is for the cyclists or the raspberries? :rubchin:

 Especially when you consider how many of them end up hurling themselves under the wheels of lorries, resulting in expensive court cases, hospital bills, lifetime care, etc, etc.

Let's be honest, though, we don't want to have to look at that sort if we're in a pub, bar or restaurant, do we? Off-putting. Best they stay at home out of sight. Anything that discourages them from going out can only be a good thing.

One pushed in (or rather rolled in) the queue at Costa the other day. I didnt say anything. She rolls in, on her phone, nearly takes out a woman's ankle, orders loads of **** very slowly, takes ****ing ages to pay and then slowly reverses out.

Nobody complains. THe bloke I was with muttered 'taking the ****ing piss, as usual' but he was sort of joking.

You can make a passable breakfast pina colada at home by adding rum to one of they Innocent pineapple and banana smoothies.

I can quite honestly say, I have never had a cup of tea in an establishment where I have been served by a Barman. Whether he was armless or otherwise or whether I was legless or otherwise.

My father took to putting rum in his morning porridge a few years ago.

Fair enough, I suppose. He's over 70. What harm can it do?

Hmm, I wouldn't hold with that sort of behaviour at breakfast.

I mean porridge, for fúck's sake. What is he, a wannabe jock?

He seems to be of the opinion that Green Tea and Porridge are the elixir of life.

I suppose at that age, such considerations become rather more urgent.
