Oh, please let it kick off! :hehe: Pictures of Corbyn's hard left thugs beating up Jews would surely put an end to the man?

So you would like to see Jews being beaten up on the streets of London? You may as well don the black shirt and march through Cable Street yourself.

Very disappointing, b....

As a means to an end, it would be very handy, p.

Hmmm, you would prefer say, David Miliband, leading Labour as opposed to Comrade Jeremy?

Careful what you wish for, Burney.

Momentum's Corbynite thugs aren't going to let go of the party without a fight. The only way they can dump Our Julius now is to split the party. Which will split their vote :cloud9:

Yes, I think we're sort of agreeing. If you want the destruction of the Labour party as we now know it as the ultimate goal, we want Corbyn to remain as long as possible, I think. Going now would be too early, we need another year or two of infighting, accusations, conflict and then a complete collapse as both sides become completely entrenched in their positions such that a split is the only tenable outcome.

Good ole Jez. :-)

On the other hand, they could unify around Brexit as the leadership slips further towards a de facto 'remain' position

If Brexit's going to destroy a party, the chances are it'll be the Tories.

Absolutely. He's as unelectable as his brother. Also, he's a dirty jew*.

*For the benefit of the hard of thinking that was a joke.

There is certainly the argument that the prospect of letting in a hard left government led by Corbyn is the only thing stopping the tories going completely tonto, yes. Only the hardest of hardcore remain lunatics like Soubry and Clarke are prepared to destroy the country in order to avoid Brexit.

However, the fact is that Brexit will tear apart any party that's in power while having to enact it. It's just too big and too loaded with democratic significance not to.

Soubry supports us adopting a version of the Norway model. She's hardly a remain lunatic in the vein of Adonis.

She is prepared to vote against the government in the House and thus raise the prospect of a Corbyn government. That's lunatic enough in my book.

Brexit = meh, imo.

It was always massively overblown in terms of its impact on us. All the doomsayers were proven wrong and all the 'it will be the making of our wonderful country' are naïve to say the least. We'll get a sensible deal because the people involved are intelligent sensible people.

Brexit won't be destroying, or making, anyone.
