Indeed T. But call me old Skool here, this preoccupation with 'assists' in modern punditry parlance seriously gives my arse a toothache. Any c unt can launch a ball in the direction of the goal scorer and somehow receives this mysterious accolade of 'an assist'.
Back in the day, a marvellously crafted piece of skill that led to a goal was acknowledged as, 'creating a chance' but at least it was well worked. Now it could be a throw in, a corner, or just lumping it, route one style, up field. :hellinahandcart:
